Terms of use

These terms govern use of the EHSMatch public directory at ehsmatch.com — browsing listings, searching, and claiming a profile. Using the directory means you accept them. If you create an account, the account flow may present additional terms specific to that role.

Listings combine two kinds of data: information imported from public sources, and information provided by the listed consultant after claiming a profile. Where a field came from a public source, the profile cites that source next to the field. Credential claims cite the source of the claim.

A credential carries the VERIFIED badge only after we check it against the issuing board’s registry, as described on How verification works. Everything else is stated evidence, labeled UNVERIFIED.

If a listing describes you or your firm and any field is wrong, or you want the listing removed, email records@ehsmatch.com with the profile link and what needs to change. Consultants can also claim their profile and correct claimable fields directly.

Do not use the directory to:

• scrape, harvest, or bulk-download listing data for resale or for building a competing dataset;
• misrepresent yourself when claiming a profile, or claim a profile that does not describe you;
• submit credentials, evidence, or corrections you know to be false;
• probe, disrupt, or attempt to bypass the platform’s access controls.

We may remove listings, suspend accounts, or restrict access to protect the accuracy of the directory.

The directory is provided as-is. We do not warrant that any listing is accurate, complete, or current. What we do instead is show our work: provenance-cited fields, per-claim sources, and registry-checked badges with an append-only audit trail behind them. A VERIFIED badge means the issuing board’s registry confirmed the credential as of the most recent check — it is not an endorsement of the consultant or a guarantee of their work.

Hiring decisions are yours. Verify anything material to your engagement directly with the consultant and the issuing board.
